Soft Spot Portable Solar Lanterns
A frosted globe held in a powder-coated steel cradle. Danish designer Maria Berntsen reduced the lantern to its most considered form — sphere, frame, light — and made it genuinely portable. Solar cells beneath the shade charge it through daylight; USB handles the rest. Set it on a table for dinner outside, carry it in afterward if you like. It doesn't require a plan.
Powder-coated steel · frosted polycarbonate globe | Solar + USB rechargeable | Up to 15 hours per charge | Manual or automatic mode | Weather-rated to -4°F | UL-certified for wet environments
Small: 7.3" H Ă— 4.5" diameter. Medium: 9.8" H Ă— 5.7" diameter.
Designed by Copenhagen-based Maria Berntsen for Rosendahl, a Danish design house forty years deep in the same founding premise: everyday things deserve to be made well.
